“EMOCION... ALEGRIA... SATISFACCIÓN... ENTUSIASMO”
As I lie awake, a mix of exhaustion and exhilaration filling my thoughts, I am overwhelmed with gratitude following the completion of our Tango Meditation Workshop in Buenos Aires. The event, brought to life after months of preparation, surpassed our wildest dreams, thanks to the support of dear friends like Christine Eydoux, Cristina Diaz, and Viviana Garrote. Their dedication and expertise played a pivotal role in making the workshop a resounding success.
Cristina Konopka beautifully captured the essence of the Workshop:
“EMOTION... JOY... SATISFACTION... ENTHUSIASM”
And I believe these sentiments were shared by all - staff and participants alike.
At the heart of the workshop lay the principle that meditation is about connecting with something invisible, both physically and energetically. Translating this principle into the realm of tango, we explored the concept of 'dancing tango with heart.'
Our primary goal was to guide participants towards a meditative state by the end of the workshop. Through guided exercises, they gained a deeper understanding of meditation and its connection to the energetic experience we often encounter in tango.
The workshop began with fundamental exercises to open and stimulate energy centers and channels throughout their bodies. Participants then embarked on a series of exercises designed to cultivate physical, emotional, and spiritual disciplines through simple tango walks, both solo and with partners. With the assistance of our 'tango angels,' they embraced the art of dancing with mindfulness.
I am deeply touched by the unwavering trust and enthusiasm demonstrated by all the participants, both in the first and second sessions. Their feedback and insights have been invaluable, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of them.
My deepest appreciation goes out to the Tango Zen team, Christine Eydoux, Cristina Diaz, and Viviana Garrote. Their unwavering support and collaboration embody the African proverb, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."
This successful event serves as a testament to our team's commitment to spreading the transformative message of tango dance, both in Buenos Aires and around the world. We are reminded that tango is not just about steps and patterns; it's about dancing with heart, connecting with others, and cultivating a deeper understanding of ourselves.
May the rhythm of tango continue to inspire and connect us all.

We’re excited to return to Buenos Aires in March–April 2024. There will be sessions for newcomers and a special follow-up session for those who have previously participated in the Workshop.
May the rhythm of tango continue to inspire and connect us all.
Embrace the dance.
